Working with Others

Working with others is key to have success in a work place. Being able to work with others not only makes your life easier but it makes your team members life easier. Having a positive team work environment promotes an atmosphere that fosters friendship and loyalty. Working in a group also motivates members to work harder, cooperate and be supportive of one another.  Working with others on a project also promotes diversity becuase every one come in with their own ideas that can be incorporated in some way. Good teamwork structures provide your organization with a diversity of thought, creativity, perspectives, opportunities, and problem-solving approaches. A proper team environment allows individuals to brainstorm collectively, which in turn increases their success to problem solve and arrive at solutions more efficiently and effectively. 

In the Video to your left, you will listen to what teamwork means to a 4th grader. Teamwork skills are developed at a young age and it largely impacts how one will be able to work with other when they are older. If a child is not taught how to effectively work with a team growing up then in the future when they have to work in a team, they may not be as successful.
