Leadership
Leadership is extremely important in the business world because without a strong leader an otherwise good business would fail. There are recognizable traits between successful leaders in our world today. Some of these traits include the ability to initiate change and inspire a shared vision, as well as knowing how to "encourage the heart" and model the skills and behaviors that are necessary to achieve the stated objectives. However, In my opinion one of the most important trait that most successful leaders hold is their confidence. without confidence, a leader would not successfully be able to enable others contribute and succeed. A noble trait of good leaders is their willingness to see others prosper along their side.
In the Video located to your left you will hear Simon Sinek, a management theories, speak about what makes a good leader. As you listen to this TED Talk, you will notice his big picture is that a leader will make you feel safe. Simon Sinek say "it's someone who makes their employees feel secure, who draws staffers into a circle of trust. But creating trust and safety — especially in an uneven economy — means taking on big responsibility."
